I recognize the right of the University
to exclude at any time a student whose academic conduct or academic standing renders undesirable his or her presence in the institution.
If accepted into the EP program, I agree to comply with the Academic Regulations outlined in the JHU-EP Catalog available online. The
Academic Regulations pages document the JHU-EP Academic Integrity, Ethics and Computing policies, as well as other policies each student
should be aware of before matriculating.
The Johns Hopkins University requires students to have English proficiency for their course of study. Effective April 1, 2010, all
international applicants must submit proof of their proficiency in English via the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) before they can be offered admission.
A minimum score of 600 (paper based), 250 (computer based), or 100 (Internet based) is required for the TOEFL; for the IELTS, an overall
band score of at least 7.0 is required. The EP admissions office requires official copies of all results.
Johns Hopkins University is committed to recruiting, supporting, and fostering a diverse community of outstanding
faculty, staff, and students. As such, Johns Hopkins does not discriminate on the basis of gender, marital status,
pregnancy, race, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity
or expression, veteran status, or other legally protected characteristic in any student program or activity administered
by the university or with regard to admission or employment. Defense Department discrimination in ROTC programs
on the basis of sexual orientation conflicts with this university policy. The university continues its ROTC
program, but encourages a change in the Defense Department Policy.
